Best Dance Scenes in Movies - Pt. 1
I'm not a movie critic like Siskel & Ebert. They were usually pretty right on when critiquing movies. However, I think after all the movies I've watched, I can certify myself as a movie critic as well. I just don't get paid for it. How does "Stayingalivemoma's Movie Picks" sound? No? Oh, well, just enjoy reading then and make your own judgement, okay?
So, like I the title reads, I have put together some of the best dance scenes from movies. Some are old; some more recent, but I think you'll enjoy them all the same.
Okay, first up is one of my favorite movies ever, White Chicks! If you haven't seen this movie yet, you are truly missing out on a good laugh from beginning to end. Here's the video:

Get Up and Dance
Alright, as Jay-Z would say, "On to the Next". This next video is from a movie called She's All That . A cute teenage movie from the late 90's. Another "must" watch movie for, if nothing else, this totally awesome dance scene. Watch it here:

Did you see Usher? Even back then he had moves . Well, you don''t think I'm done yet, do you? I think I have room for a couple more. Next one is Despicable Me . Why? Because I'm a kid at heart. Hey, don't laugh, I bet there are millions of us parents out there that can name all the sweetest cartoons! Besides Steve Carrell is hilarious to me both as a cartoon and a human being! Here it goes:

When I was Younger...
Okay, now let's get serious again. Oh, who am I kidding! I'm still being a kid; just like Jennifer Garner was in 13 Going on 30. As you can probably guess from the title, a 13 year old is stuck in the body of a thirty year old and it's just....funny! Watch as she spices things up at a party and makes everybody young again!

Ha...Ha...Ha...Enough already! That's enough for now. You can always bookmark this page or email it to people to brighten their day and get them up and dancing. If you haven't had enough, then watch Pt.2....What? You though that was it? I'm just getting started!
Most of these movies are older (80's & 90's) but hey, these movies are like fine wine that gets better as they age.
Aside from the dance scenes, these movies will make you laugh and cry. Why not buy one for yourself or a friend? Most of these are under $10. It would make a great Christmas or Birthday gift for anyone. See you soon.
